The Best Musical Theatre holiday camps are fun, inclusive, and a chance for young people that love musicals to be in a show.
Our holiday courses are open to everyone, there are no 'star' parts and no-one is just put in the chorus, whatever their age or ability. At every holiday camp we create a brand new musical from scratch, built around the talents, input and interests of our cast. We start with a theme, anything from Disney to Broadway, Shakespeare to Marvel. At the end of the week we perform a huge musical spectacular for family and friends at The Sandpit Theatre.

TIMES
Usually from 10am - 4pm, Mon - Fri, with an early drop off option from 8am. One week in Easter and three weeks consecutively in Summer with 1 day holiday camps available during February, June and October half terms. We generally have a final showing of work for family and friends at the end of the week at 3:15pm.

Dancing
Dance sessions are exciting and supportive, encouraging every attendee, from dance class veterans to beginners, to get moving. Every week, we try different styles and techniques to create amazing routines for the big show.

Acting
We build confidence and have fun through group drama games and exercises, touching on a range of techniques from naturalism to improv, before creating a script around the unique personalities and talents of our casts that is then incorporated into the big show at the end of the week.

In singing, we focus on helping our casts find their voice and sing out! We use pop, musical theatre or folk to help tell the story of the final show, with spectacular group numbers and solo lines that let everyone shine.

WEEK ONE: Monday 27 - Friday 31 July 2026 ‘Top of the Pops’
Who will win the battle to become pop royalty? K-pop, Brit-pop, Prince, Queen, Taylor, Sheeran, and more!
For years, pop music has inspired juke-box musicals like We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia, Rock of Ages, & Juliet, and Moulin Rouge. This summer, we’ll build technique as we create our very own musical, exploring the exciting range of vocal and physical styles that ‘Pop’ has to offer.
WEEK TWO: Monday 3 - Friday 7 August 2026 ‘Everyone's Talking About Broadway’
This week, we will be focusing on incredible modern Broadway hits like Everyone’s talking about Jamie, Hadestown, and Dear Evan Hansen!
We’ll spend the week developing the technique required to deliver these compelling, character driven stories, their complex (but catchy!) songs, and their cutting-edge choreography, before performing in a brand new all-singing all-dancing show at the end of the week!
WEEK THREE: Monday 10 - Friday 14 August 2026 ‘Class Act’
This week’s attendees will be sure to learn a lot, as we explore all our favourite school-set musicals of both stage and screen.
We’ll be learning fun, fast paced musical numbers from shows like School of Rock, Hairspray, and Bring It On, and digging into the performance style and storytelling of coming-of-age classics like Mean Girls and Matilda!
All Camps
5 days to create and star in a big stage musical production performed at the end of the week at The Sandpit Theatre, where tickets for family and friends are free!
Every age group will work with industry coaches and will learn and perform in at least 4 numbers. With so much to choose from and content inspired by the group, our camps have something for everyone. With 25 years’ experience, we know our attendees will have the Best time!
