Helen 's Dad

"It has been the best part of her week for the last two weeks and again during the summer holidays when she attended the summer camps too. She really has opened up coming to the school as she feels she has met kindred spirits. In her words " at school if I just start to sing something from Hamilton I get stared at, I do the same at Best and 6 people join in". She has been liberated from her sense of being on the outside. Now she knows what we have been telling her for the last few years while she's felt "stuck" at school, that there is a wider world out there with many Helens. From a parent's view it is a joy to behold as she finally feels included."

Dance, choreography and physical theatre techniques are all explored in these sessions. Physical theatre lifts and transitions are brought into lessons and productions and there is a strong focus on bringing physical elements to character, emotion and story.
